Livin' in Phoenix
It was really a great feeling to end up in Phoenix yesterday after all the time that Greg and I have spent talking about us doing it.
The drive over the desert was not the most exciting drive, but I will take that boring desert scenery over that Los Angeles city scenery (noting but miles of cars)!
I’m enjoying 60 degree weather during the day and it doesn’t get any lower that the mid 40s at night. The best part is that it is not raining!!!!!
We had a wonderful time with the Horsmanns today. It’s been a long time since we have been able to spend any time with them and it was fun to catch up on their lives and adventures.
We’re planning to stay at this RV park here in Phoenix for at least a week and spend more time with Greg’s brother’s family and the Horsmanns. We kinda need a little rest after driving for 1,300 miles to get here. It is a good feeling to be retired and be able to spend time during the day doing what we want to do when we want to do it. I recommend retirement to anyone who can swing it!!
