Freezing in Phoenix?

Permalink 12/27/07 22:54, by Von, Categories: Retirement

What’s up with this weather in Phoenix? They had freezing temps last night and when Bill (Greg’s brother) went out to golf at 8AM he wasn’t allowed on the course until 10AM because the greens were frozen and it would ruin them if they played golf on them. It is abnormally cold for Phoenix right now. However, the forcast says that it will be 70 degrees on Monday, that’s closer to normal for around here. But despite the cold it isn’t raining!!! Yeah!!

We had a very nice and relaxing day today with Greg and me just working on the internet and reading. We had dinner at the Horsmanns again tonight and had some very tasty turkey soup.

For all that read these blogs I want you to know that I do have some control over Bentley, it isn’t quite like what Greg stated in his blog. It is a delight to have this cute and wonderful dog along on all of our adventures. He has the best personality for all the challenges that we present to him. He just loves life and everything we do and adjusts very well to new surroundings. I try not to spoil him too much.

We are talking about going to Mazatlan, Mexico soon and looked their weather up on the internet and saw that it was forcasted to be 20 C. I freaked out and told Greg we were not going to a place where it was 20 degrees. That was celcius not farenheit! I then felt pretty silly when it really is 85 degrees. OK, so I can handle that.
