Live Blogging I-10

We are stuck in a massive traffic accident 85 miles north of Tuscon. We have seen three lifelite helicoptors and 4 ambulances go past and have been sitting still for half an hour. The scene appears to be a couple miles or less in front of us. Sigh. We were rolling along and it felt good to be going.

Got up at 7:00 and hit the road at 8:20. Another cold but beautiful morning with an improving forecast. This accident is looking worse and worse. Another helicoptor just flew off. No lights on an ambulance going back the other way probably means a fatality. We could be here a long while.
