Oh, my poor Baby!
Getting Bentley neutered today kinda felt lousy.
I know it is for his own good, but I hate to see him so groggy and out of it. It makes me sad to think that I caused him pain in any form.
Wow, I can’t believe how attached I’ve become to him. He is doing fine and this too will pass.
I really like my new bike. It is blue and is a Sun Retro. It’s just like the bikes that we old farts learned to ride on. I’m real comfortable riding it, it isn’t all fancy and stuff. I rode it around the loops of our campground and when I got back to my camp site some guy told me that he liked my bike, it reminded him of one he had when he was a kid (he was an old fart too). I had to get a simple safe bike since Shiela was worried about my recumbant bicycle that I crashed on. The rebumbant bicycle did take a little speacil balancing and this new bike is alot easier to ride. We put a wire basket on the front for Bentley to ride in. Now that is my next challenge, getting him to stay in the basket and me not crashing with him in it.
Being retired is giving me time to pursue all kinds of new things. I don’t have time enough in the day to do all the things that I want to. When I was working, I didn’t have time or energy to do alot other than work and the minimum housecleaning. Now I feel that time is getting by because I’m not doing all the things that I want to. Such a problem, huh?
The weather was real nice today. It is funny to watch the weather forecasters on TV talk about the rain that is coming tomorrow and through Monday. I wonder what they mean by rain? Do they mean monsoon or drizzle? They report all about California’s weather because there isn’t much to report about here in Arizona. That’s OK by me.
