Decisions decisions

It feels pretty good to be sitting still for a month. We will have time to get some of the odds and ends done before moving on.

We have been planning to sell the motorcycle and get a car to tow but the closer I get to doing that the more torn I am. I haven’t ridden since May and before that I didn’t ride much so you’d think it wouldn’t be a big deal but damn I don’t want to sell that thing.

Maybe I’ll store it for the next year and just outright buy a toad. (Towed vehicle) And what kind of toad? A small pickup would be the most practical. We can put the stuff that is currently in the trailer in the bed of the pickup and it would be a light weight to tow but that is so boring! I want something fun to drive to replace the Harley. I am looking for suggestions.

Wonder if you can tow a Corvette four wheels down?

An old Corvette.

An old ratty Corvette.

A fixer upper.

Nah, I don’t need another one of those.

My brother and his wife are flying into Phoenix later today. (They own a condo here.) They are going to run a marathon on Sunday. Which I think is totally nuts. Did you ever see anyone who runs for exercise look like they are having fun while they are running? No? They always look like they are in extreme pain. Then they tell you how good it feels when they are done. Reminds me of slamming your head into a brick wall so you can feel good when it stops. Makes no sense.

Ah, different strokes as they say.

At any rate, I will be hooking my bike up to the trainer today and starting to get back into shape again. Now bicycling is just the opposite of running. People doing it recreationally are smiling and talking with each other while they ride. No gritted teeth and furrowed brow. That’s my idea of exercise. Sit and spin.
