Blogging becomes somewhat addictive for some reason. I have read other bloggers who I follow say the same thing and am finding it to be true. I missed yesterday due to fatigue and a very active day.

I stayed the first night in Oregon with my sister Pamela and her husband Dick. I enjoyed their usual gracious hospitality. Yesterday morning we attended a consultation with Jimmy’s oncologist. Kim wanted all of us there so the four of us plus Cyndi were in the room while the doctor gave Jim and all of us time to ask questions. Jim had undergone a pt scan earlier that morning but no results were ready. Kim should be hearing more today about what that scan will tell us about Jimmy’s prognosis.

For an oncologist the doctor seemed very uncomfortable dealing with delivering the bad news. It seemed odd to me since he must have to do it on a daily basis. Maybe it was because there were so many of us in the room.

My brother is a cancer survivor of five years (non-hodgins lymphoma) and Cyndi is a nursing professional and they have been a great strength to Kim. I am glad they have been able to be here. Kim will have Cyndi on the telephone with her today when the doc calls to let her know if the pt scan results will change Jim’s prognosis.

Plans are apace for Elizabeth’s wedding. For such short notice quite a few people will be there.

I have some thoughts I want to express about all this but don’t have time right now. I will blog later today.
