Cold here in the Desert by Von

Permalink 01/31/08 09:56, by Von, Categories: Retirement

Woke up this morning in this sunny desert and froze my you- know-what, it was 36 degrees out. 88| I checked the Accuweather for Mesa and Eugene and it was warmer in Eugene than in Mesa. What’s up with that? It is sunny but cold. Hope it warms up sometime today.

We have new neighbors behind us and they are from Quebec, Canada. They speak real limited english. The RV Park has a guy who helps people park their rigs in the tight spots here and he managed to direct the guy into his spot and the guy jack knifed his pickup and trailer so tight that he damaged his pickup and trailer. They were not very happy with that situation. >:XX Their livingroom window opens right up where I sit and have my cigarettes. I feel like I’m on display. Last night they had a spot light on at their door pointed right at me and I couldn’t see anything when I went outside. Oh well, that is life when you have to deal with people and all the situations that that entails. Bentley gets real excited when he is out on our patio because they have a small dog and Bentley thinks that it should come out and play.

Today Bentley is 8 months old and still has a lot of puppy in him. He is the funniest little guy to watch. The smallest little things make him happy, like leaves blowing around, he loves to chase them. :p When he gets his treats he has to play with them for a few minutes before he eats them. If only us humans could find that much joy in everything that we do. He is a great teacher of how we should all enjoy even the little things in life and not be so serious in everything we do.

Well, Bentley and I are going out to play and enjoy. My hope is that every one reading this will find something today to just have fun with, I plan to. :>>
