Book Review by Greg
I have been a Science Fiction fan since I was 11 years old and read Robert Heinlein’s “Rocketship Galileo", a book written for juveniles. I don’t read as much of it as I used to but I picked up a paperback at the RV park’s library two days ago by S.M. Stirling called “Island in the Sea of Time” and have been hooked. It is one of my favorite SF concepts, time travel and in this case time travel to the past. The intellectual exercise in figuring what we would do if suddenly left to live without the benefits of our current state of industrial and technical knowledge and using what is on hand at the time the protagonists were suddenly transported to the 1300’s AD. A great read and I recommend it to any other SF fans out there.
