We took the Jetta in to get it washed again. This is twice in one week. I can’t remember if I ever washed my car twice in one week before, let alone twice in one month (or year?). With it being jet black it showed every greasy fingerprint where the machanic touched it. It sure is pretty when it is clean.

I think we did the right thing with buying it from Aaron. I was walking Bentley in the dog run yesterday and some guy came into the run with his dog and asked me if I was from Oregon. I couldn’t figure out how he would know I was from Oregon until I thought about our RV spot. We probably are known by everybody in the Park because we do kind of stand out from the others. He started to ask “Aren’t you the ones that have the …", and I said “Oh, the Airstream?” He said, “No, the little black diesel Jetta, you want to sell it?” Because the Airstream motor home is so unusual I’ve had several conversations with people because of it. Now, the Jetta seems to be trumping the Airstream. And I bet if we had the cover off of the Harley, I would be talking to strangers about that too. We have some cool stuff or at least we have some stuff that are conversation starters. Wonder why people aren’t talking to us about the utility trailer? Oh, they have come up and started talking to us about what we have in it and is it ok to have it parked in our RV spot. That is the thing about RVing, folks are always friendly and want to talk to you.

Well, I off to go outside and have some conversations with strangers.
