Some Fun by Greg

I closed yesterday with saying we would be doing something fun. Well, Von had a different idea and we spent the entire day doing chores so not much to pass on this morning. We will be going sight seeing today though and I will post photos after.

Super Tuesday is here and gone and it was somewhat anti-climactic since no one on the Democratic side came away a clear winner. Mayb the Oregon primary will actually mean something this time. It’s been a long time. The last time I remember, and I’m sure this is not correct, that Oregon counted much was in 1967 when Robert Kennedy came to Oregon just prior to his asassination in Calfornia. I saw him speak at what was then Oregon Technical Institute. I don’t remember much about that except I was impressed with how short he was. Ah, as a 17 year old from Klamath Falls I wasn’t much interested in politics.

The good news is the huge turnouts particularly by youthful voters.
