Pueblo Grande Museum by Greg

This museum is located near central Phoenix adjacent to Sky Harbor Airport. It is the preserved remains of one of the larger communities established by these Indian Peoples and includes many reconstructed buildings as well as original structures.

This culture just faded away as all these cultures did and little is really known about the details of their organization and structure. The contrast between the settlement and the downtown area where it is located is stark. The indoor exhibits are aimed at school age children. The outdoors section consists of a three quarter mile walk through the village. Entry fee was only $2.00 each. Photos online here.
