Union Election Vote for SISK by Greg

I know a lot of the people who visit our blog work for the State so I wanted to mention the Union election for the Board of Directors that is happening this month. You will be receiving a ballot this week, they are being mailed today, Monday, March 10. You will be voting for the new Board of Directors and this is an especially important election for two reasons. First is that this will be the first Board under the new restructure of the Board and it is important to have good people to get this new structure to work. Second is that some of the people running are supporting Joe DiNicola’s bid to be paid over a hundred thousand dollars in overtime pay which he insists he is entitled to even though he is an executive and has lost his court case in which he sued the Union.

If you work for DCBS your ballot will include a woman who is supporting Joe. The alternate candidate is a man with great integrity and experience. He has served on the DAS bargaining team and will work hard to make this new restructure work and will not support DiNicola’s bid. His name is Robert Sisk and I urge you to vote for him this week.
