things have settled down here

My posts regarding Joe seemed to result in a huge influx in visitors here, we had nearly 700 hits in 5 days. The anecdote about the incident in the hallway with him brought 300 hits that day and many more in the next few days but things are back to normal.

I finished up at work last week. I feel closure now from the working life and think I will begin to enjoy this retirement thing more than before. I won’t be posting anymore about union strife, at least here. This software I am using to do this allows for multiple blogs and I may do something over on that blog but not for now. Trying to decompress from it a bit. Von and I did go over to Catherine’s the other night to help stuff envelopes and had a very enjoyable evening with some fine folks.

I wanted to recommend a new, to me, browser. Safari, the Apple browser, is now available for windows and I downloaded it this morning. It is amazingly faster than Firefox, which I had been using almost exclusively. If you are into trying something new to browse with I suggest giving it a try. Download it here.
