A day at the coast by Greg

We needed to get some work done on the motor home before we head out for the Cascades this week end and they needed it overnight so we left it with Oak Park RV and drove over to Lincoln City yesterday. We spent last night at the SeaHorse Ocean Front Lodging. We have been here several times in the past, it is a very pet friendly motel with gas fire places and ocean views for a relatively easy cost. It is 130 stair-steps down to the beach so a good work out getting there and back. It is nothing fancy but recommended if you have pets.

It will be good to get back on the road after this seemingly interminable winter/spring. It seemed like we could just never get a rhythm to life, get in the sync, as they say. I hope that even with the price of fuel so out of hand we will get to do more site seeing than we were able to this past year. My health is certainly better and we have pretty much gotten all the wrinkles ironed out of the motor home. Mechanically at least. We still need to remodel the interior but that will come.
