June 3rd in Sisters Laundromat by Greg

We found a perfect camping spot not far from where we camped last year. It is not right on the water but only a few steps away. We cannot see any neighbors from our site although there are dispersed camping sites on both sides of us. We are in a clearing and get very good morning sun. The solar panels are doing a great job keeping the batteries charged. This is our first go at boondocking with the solar and it is marvelous. We were abel to watch a video last night, keep the furnace going as it is still cold at night and still have fully charged batteries by 10 the next morning. What is most remarkable to me is that this morning we had rain and mostly cloudy skies but the little bit where the sun broke through was enough to bring them up to full charge.

Our WiFi works at the laundry so that works out great. We haven’t tried it at the Camp Sherman store yet. Von is back to keeping a journal so she will probably have quite a lot to add after this post.
