No rodeo but a parade by greg

The weather was so hot and the parking area had no shade and we had no arrangements to keep Bentley cool so we didn’t actually attend the rodeo. We did go to the parade though. I told my brother on the phone it was 500 horses, 1 car and no floats. Actually there were more cars than that.

It was fun though. Small town parades are a lot of fun no matter what and this one was no exception. We had a great time.

We are going to stay at our current location another week. The weather has been great but that has meant we have not been going into civilization much and haven’t been able to post. We will be heading east to Fall Creek out of Springfield in a week though. This life style has been okay for us. Three weeks without internet or cell phone without making a special effort has broken me of my addiction to liberal news blogs and has certainly helped me to relax.
