Toothache!!

We had to make an emergency run into Salem to get an infected tooth pulled yesterday, mine that is. We had visitors over the weekend, Andrew, my youngest, Shiela and two friends of Drew’s. We will be pulling out of this spot on Friday, heading for the Fall Creek area outside of Springfield. This has been a great spot for us here and we hate to move on but we are way past the two week stay limit and even though no one official seems to have taken any note of us we feel somewhat obligated to not completely abuse the rule!

I saw a bear crossing the road the other day, and the deer are plentiful. Mushrooms are in season as well so there are a few pickers wandering around the woods. We have a Red Breasted Sapsucker, a type of woodpecker, that lives nearby. He spends a lot of time hovering around the perimeter of the clearing where we are parked.
