Mt. Shasta

I found the contrast in the two sides of Mt. Shasta to be interesting. The photos were taken within a few hours of each other, one from the southeast as we approached from Susanville and the other from Weed. The snowy side is from the east.

The contrasting colors are a result of the cloud cover that came in, at least that’s my theory. These were taken March, 2008.
