Road Warriors

We have been following the weather forecasts for a couple of weeks for Oregon and Northern California and when we saw that a huge storm is expected to hit the area on Sunday, the 21st we decided to leave a day early and beat feet for the Pacific Northwest. We drove 850 miles on Friday, stopped at a Motel 6 at 2am, slept for 3 and a half hours, and hit the road at 7am. We made it to the shop to see the trike at about 3:30 this afternoon. It is so sweet.

We decided to have this mechanic do some additional work to the engine. A new higher performance cam to beef up the horse power another 10 or 15 horses to help pull the additional weight so we may not be able to actually drive it for another week or more. We can hardly wait but the weather is not cooperating anyway.
