Home again

We left Yuma at about 11 am. Got home at 3:00. Brought the rain with us from Oregon! I was lucky to only get a few sprinkles while on the trike. A neighbor told us it has just finished raining for three hours when we pulled in. The drive wasn’t too bad. At least there are mountains off in the distance to break the monotony. We came upon a border patrol check point about a hundred miles out of Yuma. What a waste of money. I doubt they catch any illegal immigrants with those things. They just waved everyone through but it slowed down traffic for 15 minutes.

It was interesting that we only saw three or four semi’s on the road but hundreds of RV’s of the type that haul 4 wheelers. I guess they were all heading home after playing in the sand over the holidays.
