Cactus League

We finally attended a Cactus League baseball game In Tucson. The game was between the Colorado Rockies and a team made up of major league players of Mexican descent. The were hitting the ball all over the park and I saw what I think was the longest home run I have ever seen. It cleared the left center wall at by 50 feet. The crowd was great fun. We sat on the third base side with all the Mexican fans. They were enthusiastic and colorful with many painted faces.

The weather was overcast and perfect for a ball game. The cloud cover kept the temperatures below 80 and made for fine photography.
