Trike ride

We are hoping to get back on the road tomorrow with our first stop probably being the Pancho Villa State Park near Columbus, New Mexico which is south of Deming. From there we want go to the Carlsbad Caverns and then south to the Big Bend National Park in Texas. Then on east via the Gulf Coast states to the Everglades. After that north and coming back via the central states. We may need to get in New Mexico around April 15 to give my eldest, Aaron, a ride to the Southern terminus of the Continental Divide Trail where he could be starting to do that hike this summer.

So today is packing day and we will be working in the wind which has been blowing at 15 mph with 25 mph gusts. There’s a storm warning for Monday of gusts up to 45 mph but the forecast for tomorrow is fairly calm in the morning. Hope that holds true.
