Del Rio to Livingston Texas

We rode from Del Rio to Boerne (pronounced Burney) the day before yesterday through some of the best motorcycling roads I have ever been on. If this keeps up I will run out of superlatives. This is the famous hill country of Texas and it was good to be out of the desert at last. Yesterday we got off the route we have been following to come to Livingston to get our mail and rest up. We had two 300 mile days in a row so we need to restore ourselves.

We are at the Escapees RV park where we are actually residents of Texas. Tent camping is allowed although not encouraged for no longer than a week for just $5.00 a night so we will take the chance to ease up on the expenses from all the hotels we have had to stay in. There are no available campsites in any of the Texas State campgrounds due to Spring break.

I should have time today to work on photographs and get them published. We saw some amazing country and hopefully some of the photos will turn out. Gotta go do some shopping and laundry today first though.
