I finally got the pictures uploaded to SmugMug.

Yesterday I drove with another cyclist from the RV park up to Troup, Texas and the factory where the trike kit is made. A nice ride but mostly on 4 divided highways that have towns about every ten miles so you get up to the speed limit of 70 then just as you are in the groove come to a 55 mph sign, then 45 then 25 and two or three stoplights through the town then back up to 70 and so on and so on. One stretch of curves lasting about 20 miles going back south from the Motortrike place was very nice though.

While at the factory I saw a new model of trike they are now selling for $32+k that I had heard described and didn’t think I would like but found out that I did. They call it the Stallion and it has a steering wheel and bucket seats with a Ford 2.2L engine in it. It is supposed to go like a bat out of hell with all that power to weight ratio.

More of them here.

The day after tomorrow my new found cycling buddy, Mark, and I are going to go to Pineville LA to get the new trailer. It is huge. Five feet long with 24 cubic feet of storage so we will have plenty of room now!

Here’s a photo of Von, me and Mr. B at the spillway on the Nueves River (I think it is called.)

More of that day here.
