Livingston still
We have been here at the escapees park for a week today. Last night it rained hard and at three am a thunderstorm passed directly overhead. It woke us up and even Bentley was scared enough not to get out of his kennel. Von was holding on to me.
I picked up the trailer on Monday and it is sweet. The white gel coat goes nicely with the trike and pulls like a dream. The handling is back to normal and I know we will enjoy the ride much more. We will strap Bentley’s hard case kennel to the tour pak on the back and I think he will be much more comfortable.
We will be staying in this area for another week, until payday. We have drained our checking account with all the unexpected expenses, particularly the labor to do a 5000 mile service on the trike and the sales tax on the trailer which I had to pay when I registered the trailer in Texas. That was nearly 200 dollars I didn’t expect. Oh well, the trailer will be well worth it on the 15,000 miles we may be riding this year.
