Florida!

We rode through Mobile and across Southeast Alabama into Florida and are now at Balboa Bayou near Niceville, Florida which is east of Pensacola. We passed up a stop at the National Seashore because we are going to take another option in our itinerary. Looks like we will go all the way down to the Keys and spend at least a week in Florida to give the weather up north a chance to warm up.

The ride yesterday was very pretty but we were never out of sight of a house, it was one long day in rural suburbs, most of it very upscale.

We will only spend the one night here, that was all that was available due to Easter break. Same with tonight’s destination and tomorrow’s as well. Today we will ride about 140 miles to St. George Island State Park.

Balbao Bayou is gorgeous.
