Miami!

When we checked out of our hotel yesterday the weather had warmed up and dried out nicely. We went to the nearby National Park visitor center and signed up for a boat ride out to the Islands.

We had a great ride and as you can see they allowed Mr. B. onboard. He was a little spooked when the boat began to move but settled right down.

We saw a lot of birds in the estuary. Many more photos are in the gallery.

We then rode the 78 miles to a very nice RV park on the southwest outskirts of Miami. We liked it enough that we asked them to stay for a week but were told that because we had a dog we were not allowed to stay in the tent area and that it had been a mistake to give us a site last night. They agreed to give us one more night but we will be moving on tomorrow, most likely down to the Keys to see if we can luck into a walk-up site. Cross your fingers for us.
