I kinda lost track of the narrative here. We drove from Fort Clinch to Brunswick, GA then to Savannah. We got to Savannah on Friday and I came down sick with an intestinal disaster the knocked me flat for three days, now Von is in her third day with it as well. We originally planned to stay here only two nights but have extended twice now to make it six nights in Savannah. We are in a lovely campground about 12 miles from town and did go to the old downtown area and took a historic trolley tour around town while Bentley was in the Petsmart getting a hair do but we were both not feeling well and didn’t get the most out of the time.

Savannah is a beautiful city, at least downtown. The suburbs we passed through are the typical strip mall with surrounding residential areas.

We also had my telephone break down, my camera lens macro adjuster began to cause an error message with the electronics, and the shift linkage on the trike broke. Quite a spell of bad luck.

The trike is easily repaired with zip ties and I figured out this morning the fact that the camera problem seems to only occur with the wide angle adapter and I am hoping the phone only needs a battery. But I have been so under the weather that it all seemed a bit overwhelming. But we are feeling better and should get back on the road tomorrow .

The only good thing is that I could hang my hammock here and got some serious sack time in it even it I was feeling like s*$t.

Plus I may have lost a few pounds.

We have a few photos and hope to get them up today but I am already tired so will take a break in the hammock first. Heh.
