I haven’t written for a while because we haven’t been doing much for a while. We had a wonderful few days with the kids in the Willamette Valley then drove up to the Metolious River and Camp Sherman where we holed up for 10 days. No internet and no phones without a ten mile drive. From there we went down to Hugo, Oregon, near Grants Pass and stayed three nights at the Jump Off Joe Creek RV park.

We went there to have some work done on the trike by the guy who installed the trike kit for us. The trike had been handling something awful. It turned out a bolt to the frame had worked loose and fallen off causing a lot of sway in the suspension. Steve repaired that, did a 5000 mile maintenance and we are back in business.

We did drive down to the Oregon Caves National Monument and got a stamp there. The last ten miles of that drive is a great series of twisty road.

Yesterday we got back on the road after two and a half weeks of pretty much sitting. We left Joe Creek and went south and east to Crater Lake NP for another stamp and then got onto Hwy 97 north. We stayed last night in a KOA here near Culver and will be heading north and east to Walla Walla Washington then to Missoula via Hwy 12.

Every one is doing well, the lay off was good for us after the hard push to get to Oregon for Fathers Day.
