About all I can say about the ride yesterday is, “Wow, just wow!”

A couple of days ago I was talking with a fellow guest at the RV park in West Yellowstone and was telling him what we have been doing the last 5 months and he asked me where my favorite place was. That’s almost impossible to answer but I came up with the road from Presidio, TX to Big Bend National Park along the Rio Grande River. I think yesterday took first place away.

The speed limit in the park is 45 miles an hour and it was 85 miles before we left the park and then the climb over Beartooth Pass was even slower so it took us 5 and a half hours to ride the 160 miles to Red Lodge. We were pretty tired from that but because the lodging costs in Red Lodge were exorbitant we decided to grab a bite to eat and drive on to Billings, which is where we spent the night.
