In 1900 Galveston suffered the worst natural catastrophe in terms of fatalities in American history. An estimated 6000 people were killed. This statue is a memorial to that event. more »

High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDRI)

I said a while back that I would make a few comments about HDRI. I am obviously no expert in this but the concept is fairly simple. High dynamic range is when the scene being photographed would not be well represented by a single exposure. more »
